  I was treated extremely rudely by this optician and I have no idea why. He was patronising and gruff from the moment I walked in the door, so much so that I think even his own secretary was embarrassed (and I was*not* late for my appointment). I mean, he literally made me feel like I was the scum of the earth. I've never been treated like that in my life. A couple of the comments he made to/at me makes me think that he does not like caring for NHS referrals (annual eye exam), perhaps because he doesn't make enough money off of us or something? No matter the explanation, his behaviour was inexcusable, and I won't be going back.
